Accommodation

After a busy and fun day working in our projects or exploring a different culture, there is nothing better than returning to a comfortable and relaxed environment and having the chance to unwind and share experiences with other volunteers, perhaps time to write a diary or blog, send pictures and messages home, cook dinner together and read a good book before falling asleep.

Our Volunteer House is spacious and comfortable and offers enough space for 15 volunteers.

The Volunteer House is part of the help2kids Campus. We have 3 dormitories for 4 – 6 volunteers and a private room for a bit more privacy. All rooms are equipped with ceiling and standing fans and all beds have mosquito nets. All rooms share a shower and toilets.

The fees include breakfast at the Volunteer House: toast, butter, peanut butter, jam, tea, coffee, juice and a daily special: eggs, chapati, mandazi or fresh fruit. The volunteers have access to a well-equipped kitchen to cook their own food for lunch and dinner – although you can eat lunch at our campus as an optional extra.

Next to the house we have a spacious separate outside area for the volunteers with sofas and deck-chairs to relax in the evenings with a cool drink and a good book or games.
