Maria is 13 years old and wants to follow in her father’s footsteps by becoming a soldier. She truly believes that people should be allowed to live in peace and feel secure in their homes and their everyday life. Maria dreams of becoming a soldier to provide security to her country and nation. Her favorite subjects at school are Mathematics and English and in her spare time she reads newspapers to keep up on current affairs and watches military parades. Maria is hoping that she can get a sponsor so that she can go to Secondary School and continue to study hard and one day become a soldier and make her father proud.
